Psyche
She livens up the party,
just by walking in
Every time he looks
at her, a new world
does begin
He loves the feel of her
touch, he lives to hear
her talk
And lordy he's not the
only man who loves
to watch her walk
Her dark eyes glisten
in the candle's light
and he feels complete
on this starry night
She's every man's dream
and wish to come true
Who is she, you ask?
Look in the mirror,
it's you...

Seeking Wisdom
Seeking Wisdom
Many are the days when I
knock on wisdom's door,
drinking in the knowledge
like I never have before
Yearning for answers
to the questions that are asked
of how and why and where and when,
I have discovered to be my task
Contemplating solutions
to the problems I find at hand,
perhaps my greatest joy to date
is "seeking to understand"

The Miser
The Miser
Money is his god
and as he touches it
in frenzied motion,
maddened, scurrying,
like a squirrel gathering nuts...
And for the hundredth
time he counts and recounts
the stacks of paper and runs
his hands across the neatly
stacked rows of coins, shining,
golden hue'd idols, listening
he peers out the window,
hears a shout and curses,
now he must start his
precious count again....
and he laughs the laugh
of the miser
and sits in the cold house
alone...
