A Day by the Sea
Watery sunshine
spraying my face
as the ocean's mist
greets me
Seagulls circling for morning's
fare, a morsel or two from
from the sea
Sand lightly crunching
between my toes as I walk
barefoot, leaving my trail
Sea shells rolling in and
out of the surf and off
in the distance, a whale
The salty breeze blowing
my hair as I carelessly
stroll along
And as the sun sets, I
pack up to go home
with a smile and a
happy little song
