Shading Life
Don't mess with my memories,
I have them in my mind "just so"
Don't remind me of the facts,
I don't really want to know
Denial is my tutor, hope,
my best friend
I constantly replay the good times
over and over again...
Living my life in a bubble of what was
seems to be the only way
To get through all the lonely nights
and face another day
