Weaving

Weaving

Closure, sweet closure
embracing change
with head held high
and heart wide open,,
open to receive all
things new while
allowing closure
to begin

It is never easy
to let go, even if
the tapestry that
is your life is in shreds,
held together
only by time, tears
and threads
of stubbornness

Choosing closure
is not about giving up
or giving in - it is not
a sign of weakness
but quite the opposite -
it is the ability
to allow yourself
to become the path
you walk and to be
the you who shines

The scars become
something
akin to "trophies"
on a dusty shelf
in your mind,
nothing but
reminders,
as you let the
closure happen
and the rebirth
begin

Weave your own
tapestry, live your life
knowing your
own true self,
weave thyself,
sister, be "yours"
first

And then you
will find how
much more
beautiful
and strong
life's tapestry
with others
can be

Namaste
