Sending My Love
I send you bits of love
like pieces to a puzzle
Some drift along the ocean
and wash upon the shore
Others float upon the wind,
like a leaf carried
to the ground
They come to you
in drops of rain,
sometimes heavy,
sometimes light and
misty, whisper soft
I send my love in
rays of sunshine,
warm upon your back
When the winds
turn cold and bitter,
my love will wrap
you warm
And if the snow
falls all around,
each flake a different
size and shape,
know that too
is my love for you,
one drop at a time,
coming to you
from far away...
I miss you
