Persecution
I throw myself
into the depths
of mankind,
bowing on
clipped wings
No longer will
I resist my fate
while time heals
my empty dreams
The taskmaster's
demands and
vent-monger's shouts
will be ignored and
freedom will reign my soul

Out of curiosity, you use first person in all cases except the first four lines of the last stanza. Was that intentional? It seems like it could almost indicate some apprehension about the taskmaster and vent-monger (people who sound like specific people, rather than archetypes).
